To promote energy transition and sustainable economic and social development in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia regions, Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO) is to host the Forum on Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia Energy Interconnection Development on October 16, 2018 in Beijing, China. With the objective of deepening regional cooperation on a larger scale and to a higher level, the Forum is expected to have over 400 attendants from government departments, international organizations, enterprises, universities and research institutes of China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos as well as Europe, North America, Australia and other regions.
The Forum consists of opening session, release of research findings, keynote session, panel discussion, etc. GEIDCO will release the research findings on energy interconnection planning of Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia respectively. Senior representatives of relevant government departments, international organizations, enterprises and institutions will conduct extensive exchanges and share their insight and views on “Clean Development and Energy Interconnection”, “Energy Innovation and Open Cooperation” and other themes.
